About Scuba Network
Meet your dive community on Long Island—training, local diving, and a crew to keep you in the water.
Scuba is more than a certification card. It’s the moment you get comfortable underwater, the first time your buoyancy “clicks,” and the people you end up diving with long after class is over. That’s what we’re here for.
At Scuba Network, we bring divers together for training, local dives, and an active community you can plug into right away—whether you’re just getting started or you’re getting back into the sport and want solid people to dive with.
We’re based at 204a Glen Cove Road, Carle Place, NY 11514.

What we do (and how this site helps you)
If you’re here to decide whether we’re legit, you’re in the right place. This About page is your quick “home base” for trust and next steps—without burying you in details.
You can use the rest of the site to:
- Meet the people behind Scuba Network (our crew and instructors)
- See what others are saying (news and coverage)
- Join the community (our dive club)
If you’re already in training and wondering what completing certification looks like locally, we offer Local Shore checkout dives for certification. Our Open Water Check Out Dves include 4 local dives over 2 days.
Our approach: real-world diving, real community
We’re big believers in practical diving—learning skills in a way that makes you feel capable and calm in the water. And we’re equally serious about what happens after training: staying active, diving regularly, and having a network you can count on.
That’s the difference between “I got certified once” and “I’m a diver.” We want you to be the second one.
On this site, you’ll find ways to keep moving forward—whether that’s booking the next step you need, connecting with other divers, or just getting a feel for who we are and how we operate.
Get to know our staff and instructors
When you’re choosing a dive shop, the people matter. The best training experiences come from instructors and staff who communicate clearly, keep things organized, and actually enjoy seeing divers progress.
If you want to know who you’ll be learning and diving with, head to our Crew/Staff & Instructors section on the site. It’s the fastest way to put faces and experience behind the name “Scuba Network.”
Press & coverage
Trust is built on transparency—and sometimes it helps to see what others have shared about us.
Visit our Press / News Coverage page to browse mentions and features. If you’re the type who likes third-party validation before committing your time and money (smart), that’s a great next click.
The Dive Club: your built-in buddy system
A lot of people love the idea of diving… until they realize they need a plan and a buddy network to keep doing it.
That’s where the Scuba Network Dive Club comes in. It’s a place to stay connected, find community, and keep the momentum going after class. If you’ve ever thought, “I just want consistent dive people,” you’ll feel at home there.
Ready for your next step?
If you’re comparing options, we’d love to help you get clarity—what training you need, what’s next in your certification path, or how to get plugged into local diving.
For Open Water students completing the in-water portion locally, our Open Water Check Out Dves are 4 local dives over 2 days. You’ll also see available spots listed when booking.
Wherever you are in the process, explore the crew page, check out our coverage, and take a look at the club. Then come dive with us.
